What if Your Estimate is Higher than My Insurance Claim?

What if My Insurance Company Issues Me a Partial Check and Won't Issue the Rest until Proof of Completion?

We realize that each insurance company is different. If your insurance holds a portion of your check until the work is completed, then we ask that you pay what you have and we will submit a certificate of completion to the insurance company. It usually takes 7-10 business days for a check for the remaining amount to arrive at your home. Back to top

What if My Insurance Company Issues a Check for Both Me and My Mortgage Company to Sign?

Top Shape Roofing and Remodeling is aware that when you have a mortgage on your home, the insurance company may require a signature from the mortgage company.

In this case, we ask you to submit the insurance check to the mortgage company as soon as possible. It’s likely you will receive the check back before the repair job is completed. Please let your Top Shape home repair representative know beforehand so there are no surprises at the time of completion. Back to top
